ARNet's network
Internet transit network consists of multiple DS-3 (45 Mbps) connections
to UUNET, our Network Traffic transit peer. One DS3 circuit terminates
at UUNET's Denver peering facility; the other DS3 circuit terminates
at UUNET's Dallas peering facility. Both circuits are in utilization
at all times, ensuring the shortest path between you and the Internet.
In the event one of these circuits becomes inoperable due to a fiber
cut or upstream failure, the other automatically takes over. This
type of route redundancy ensures that Internet traffic is available
to the ARNet network 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
